Due to our inability to rectify and maintain the accuracy of outdated NSN numbers, we kindly request that all new NSN number requests adhere to the appropriate SKU/item numbers specified in our BULK pricing lists.

It has come to our attention that several customers have submitted NSN number requests using SKU numbers associated with our retail packs. We strongly advise against utilizing our retail pack SKUs, which are exclusively designed for retail consumer distribution. These retail packs incur a threefold higher cost per unit and are packaged in retail cardstock, thereby contributing significantly to additional labor and weight in any given order.

Upon reviewing our existing NSN numbers, it is evident that many of them correspond to our retail packs, denoted by labels such as ‘aLOK2’ or ‘aLOK3.’ It is crucial to emphasize that any reference to ‘pack’ consistently pertains to retail packaging. All BULK items are sold as individual units.

The appropriate SKUs for government and military procurement should commence with a ‘B’ to indicate bulk units. For instance, our SKU that referenced as ‘aLOK2-6×6’ should have been recorded as ‘B-aLOK6x6,’ and similarly, ‘B-aLOK-8×11’ should be used instead of ‘aLOK2-8×11’ for NSN requests.

It is important to note that there are minimum order quantities for bulk purchases.

Efforts to update our NSN numbers have been ongoing for several years, but unfortunately, they have not yielded successful results. Despite extensive collaboration with an NSN specialist over a six-month period, we have been unable to effectuate these changes.

Again, we are requesting that anyone requesting NSN numbers, please only use the SKUs listed below.
